3Novices:Notorious Hong Kong gangster Yip Kai-foon, who suffered from cancer, dies in hospital

One of Hong Kong’s most notorious gangsters, Yip Kai-foon, known for holding up jewellery stores in the 1980s with an AK-47, has died in public hospital.
The former robber, who was serving his sentence of 41 years of jail in Stanley Prison, was sent to Queen Mary Hospital on April 1 due to physical discomfort.
“During hospitalisation, his condition deteriorated and he was certified dead at 1.02am on Wednesday,” the Correctional Services department said in a statement at 9.52am…
