In a review of its decades-old by-laws, Hong Kong’s railway operator is expected to propose loosening regulations on swearing and allowing people to use mobile phones to film inside trains, the Post has learnt.
But at the same time, it will maintain a hard line against eating, drinking and carrying oversized luggage on trains, although they will help passengers who need to drink water under special circumstances.
